what a poser my brother is

my brother is such a poser. You know, the tall one with the light brown hair, smelly toes? Anyway when ever there's a video camera or a phone recording him he just has to pose but when he was little my mum would say smile for the camera or follow the train to get him on tape but now he just has to be in the film or its the end of the world, you know. And don't even think about asking if I pose... I never pose, like ever.

my net ball

I love playing sports like horse ridding, swimming, running all sorts, but my favourite sport is net ball. Last year (2012) I just started playing it. I didn't have a clue who to play or what the special affects are to look really sporty so of course we didn't win much of our games but this year (2013) we are on fire! We've won ALL of our games. By the way just for a little bit of information my teams called the Thunderbirds and my friends mum is the coach and our manager is my other friends mum so any ways my team has only had three games because the season has only just started.

My little brother goes to school (jono). on Friday he got a certificate out of the whole assembly I think I had the biggest voice and clap! he got it for and for...

working hard during all activities and for wonderful mat manners... Jono Graham Room 6 year 0 Gladstone school.

I felt very proud and thought right back to when I had my first assembly and got my first certificate and when I saw the look on Jonos face when our princable called out Jono Graham Room 6 I felt so so so proud.

weetbix tryathlon

On Sunday it was the weet bix tryathlon.
I was yellow cap.

me and my brother and my dad

We had to do a 100 metre swim, 5km bike ride and 1km run.
It was my first time doing it.

we got free weetbix for breakfast

I was first nervous and then excited... and then it was time to race. I felt all of those things at the same time!

I liked the bike part

the run part was the hardest

I was glad to finish!

I did very good on the bike ride and alright on the swim, but the run, not so much!

My time was 11 minutes and 2 seconds.

I thought that was pretty good for my first go.

On our way home I said to mum "mum I really liked that."
My mum said "well then you can do it again if you like."

on Monday it was the new years eve party my friend Olivia came to the party.

I was so happy to see her face again I think she was pretty glad to see me.for dinner.

I had a sausage sizzle with mustered on top for dessert Olivia and I had mini pavlovas with a cherry on it that was yummy I also had some trifle witch also tasted good.

and at 12 o'clock it was officially 2013." hip hip hurray ! 13 cheers for 2013 I said."

my first adventure was when i was 3 year's old i got interested in biking

pretty cool right because i a few year's later i went to england. i was staying in an hotel

i was about 4 and that's when i started learning to ride my bike. so when i got to the age of 5 i alredy new how to rid my bike so my dad took me on a big cycle

i was so nervous because there where alot of big hill's when i was biking s

to start off my blog story i need need to say that my brothers are annoying.

so lets begin. let me introduce my bothers, oops i meen my brothers!!!

Scraggadag - hes 4 - and Dash is 9.

Scragg annoys me because??? he goes to the toilet and leaves a great big mess, he picks his boogers and eats them... and do not get me started on Dash.

he goes in my room steels stuff cause he wants to annoy me and mess my room up.

but even though there annoying i still love them.

story tales mermaid magic

Once upon a time there was a girl called miranda.

Her and her family went to the beach on the boats and as miranda was looking down at the water she saw a shiny tale. miranda was so surprised ...and then...a mermaids Body came out of the water.

The mermaid jumped back in the water. The mermaid jumped out of the water and waved at miranda and jumped bake in again after a boat ride away

Miranda went for a swim in the sea ! and went to see the mermaid that she saw earlier and guess what? She found the mermaid in a mermaid city.

It was so beautiful it had every thing and do you no what? The other mermaids were so friendly that they didn't even care that miranda wasn't a mermaid.

The mermaids said Hi! and bye! Miranda was thrilled and she went into a shop and said, "Do you know where you can find a mermaid that's fashionable?"

"Yes right this way," said the mermaid. "Here you go."

Lasy the fashion festile can help you."

Hey, said miranda, you're that mermaid that I saw on the boat.

Yes, said Lasy.

Lasy was so beautiful. She had a golden tail and brown hair.

"So what have you got for me to wear. Do you perhaps would have a mermaid tail for me?"

"Actually I do."

"Great," said Miranda.

So Lasy gave miranda a shell bra! And it fitted perfectly and a rainbow tail.

The shell bra is turquoise and most importantly your breathing. You need sea weed."

And Lasy gave miranda a mermaid necklace so whenever Miranda needs to turn back into a human you can, and when you need to turn back into a mermaid, you can turn back into a mermaid.

My Tangled Party

On July the 28th it was my birthday. I had a Tangled Party. I turned seven, but if you really look at me I really look like I am eight because I am very tall, I am nearly taller than my brother.

My mum made my room like it was a Hair Salon. We had long hair made out of streamers.
It was plaited and tied with bows. I had six girls at my party.

The cupcakes really did look like roses. I helped my mum make them. My brother ate most of the icing.

I had a tower cake. My mum made it out of donuts and sticks in between and icing and cones dipped in chocolate. She even made the roses out of icing.

Everyone sang happy birthday. Most of my freinds were from my school. My freind Olivia wasn't there this time because she is in China. She will be back by the time it is Christmas. I can't wait to see her. She gave me a lovely present in a parcel all the way from China.

Here we are doing our hair.

These are the freinds who came to my party. We did some silly photos and some nice photos and some OK photos.

This is me. I had a great party.

We watched the movie of Tangled and then set off lanterns. They floated up in the sky until we couldn't see them any more.

This was my best party ever.

At the Snow

In the holidays I went to the snow. It was fun.

When I went on the sledge it was a bumpy ride. I went down a hill. It was very cold and snowy.

We had a snowball fight. We made a snowman.
My brother smudged the carrot on the snowman's nose.

My brother jumped on my dad and so did I. We were having a rugby fight.

It was cold and wet. My lips were purple and my nose was pink.

My dad took this photo of the mountain. It is near Taupo.

My brother loved it as well. He was cold too.

We went inside the cafe; it was called Club Penguin.
We had a hot cocoa with marshallows inside and we also had hot chips.

I thought that it was the bestest time I've been to the snow. I wish I could go again.

I'm going to miss my freind Miss Marvellous when she is gone to China on Monday.

I am happy that her whole family is coming tomorrow for a sleepover.

Here we are at my 2nd birthday party. We always go to each others birthday parties but this year Miss Marvellous will be in China when it is my birthday.

Baking Cheesy Shapes

Me and mum did some baking when my brother was at soccer traning.
We baked cheesy shapes from this book that my grandma gave me.

Mum sid I should tell you how we did it.
We made them gluten free becos I am gluten free.

What you need:
1 cup of gluten free baking flour e.g. Bakels (or just regular flour)
50g of butter
one egg yolk
5 spoons of cold water
half a cup of grated cheese

Sift the flour into a big bowl.

Cut up the butter into chunks like this. it looks like cheese but its not

Rub the butter into the flour til it looks like breadcrumbs. my mum showed me what to do.

My mum separated the egg yok for me. Then you mix the egg and the water together. It is fun to mix the egg and the water.

Then you grate the cheese. be careful cos i grated my finger and it hurts.

Then you mix the cheese and the egg into the flour and squish it together with your hands until it makes a ball of dough like this. Then you wrap it up with gladwrap and you put it in the frdige for half and hour. This helps it stick together and be easier to roll and cut out the shapes.

then you roll out the dough and cut out some shapes. We put ours on baking paper cos than it dosnt stick to the tray. We sprinkled some cheese on top and then put it in the oven to cook.

We baked it for about 10 minutes in the oven at 180oC. It doesn't take long so we had to watch to make sure they don't get burnt.

This is what a cheesy biscuit looks like when it is cooked.

They taste real yummy. Everybody liked them. We had some in our lunch boxes the next day.

PS My mum says if you take out the cheese and add 3 desertspoons of sugar instead, you can make sweet cookies with this recipe too and it doesn't spread everywhere when you use gluten free flour.

this is me with my cat dave. some times i pick him up ..... my mum lets me feed him

it sleeps in a box. i love dave so much.

One day after school Dave got frightnened because another cat which was black came and frightened dave away from home. We looked for dave everywhere but when i found him we gave him some cat food and he felt better. I gave dave a hug and he felt better. I love Dave so much he is my best buddy.

He is also my brother's best pal too.

Dave can jump real high he can almost jump over next to our neighbours house. Me and josh got very excited and surpised because we have never seen a cat jump that high and it went up that high. We were worried but my mum said she can jump down herself.

We don't really know if dave is a boy or a girl yet.

The Tooth Fairy

Just a few days ago one tooth came out.

And then later the same day my other tooth came out!!!

I put it in my tooth fairy bag and the tooth fairy came and I got $4!!

The very next day ANOTHER TOOTH came out!!

Then I got $2 more... but I spent my new $2 on Silly bands, the ones that i really like.

Now I'm going to be getting some grown up teeth. I can't wait to have grown up teeth becaue I can eat stuff that use to be hard to eat. But at the moment it is really ahrd to eat food because I have got three teeth out!

Baking Cookies

yesterday i baked cookies with yasmeen.
it was fun.

we put oats in hte cookies and choklit-chips.

They were delicious.

when me and yasmeen ate them we felt like having more.
She had about two cookies and I had three.

I Went to See Tangled

Today I went to see tangled with my mum.

It was such a good movie. It was about Rapunzel and her very long magic hair.

She was a princess but she was in a tower.

This is Flynn. He was a theif. He was running away from people chasing him and hid hid in the tower where Rapunzel was.

This is the old lady who stuck Rapunzel in the tower. She wanted Rapunzel because she had magic hair that keeps her young. She was not Rapunzel's mother, but Rapunzel thought she was.

This is the tower. They could get up and down from the tower by Rapunzel's very long magic hair.

These are the lanterns in the sky that Rapunzel could see from her window in the tower every year on her birthday the king and queen lit them to remember the lost princess.

The story was really good because it was funny and also it had lots of action. Also there were no scary bits so that was great.
